To be quite honest, things have gone very quiet on the Palm front since its rebirth handset, the Pre, was launched in the US.
But despite America being the market all manufacturers want to crack, sometimes its a different territory that latches onto - and supports - a particular device.
So even though it's still just a rumour, it's great to hear that Palm might finally be getting around to spreading the Pre joy.
Palmwebosblog is reporting that O2 staff have been told to clear their calendars for a big UK launch on Friday October 30th.
This does fit with O2's proclivity for Friday hardware launches, and it's already been a long enough wait, so the latter end of October ought to be more than enough time for the once great PDA pioneer to get everything in place.
More news as we get it.
