No, it's not a bad pun (at least, I don't think it is), but the long awaited return of the once-great PDA giant Palm is readying itself for the UK with pre-orders appearing for the Pre.
The Palm Pre has performed admirably in the US, though mainly thanks to the warm reception of its brand new operating system, WebOS.
Unfortunately, none of the companies that are taking Pre pre-orders have slapped a release date on the handset as yet, but the appearance of the listings suggests it won't be long (rumours currently stand at the end of October).
Those coming to the end of a contract might want to start saving though, as Handtec has the sim-free Pre listed at a whopping £517.49 (including VAT), while mPhone beats that price quite considerably with a price tag of £449.98 (including VAT).
