Donating 2% of profits to the cause

Tiki Toss 3D launched on the iPhone a month ago, recreating the classic beachside hook-and-ring game known to millions of island holidaymakers.

And continuing the laid back theme, the developer of the title, Mellow Militia, has announced it will be donating 2 percent of Tiki Toss 3D’s profits to The Surfers Healing Foundation for Autism.

Mellow Militia is also contributing an iPad and six custom painted surfboards for auction at The Surfers Healing Art Benefit.

The Surfers Healing Foundation helps autistic children find respite through surfing, after its founders discovered the sport has a therapeutic effect on sufferers, including their own son.

Chill out

“The healing powers of the sun, water, and sand are undeniable and real,” says Kyle McGetrick, co-founder of Mellow Militia.

“This truly relaxing therapy that Israel and Danielle (who founded the cause) discovered to benefit autistic children is phenomenal and inspiring and we love being a part of it.”

Mellow Militia joins Hawthorn Cat, Paskowitz Surf Camp, and Variety, a children’s charity in Southern California to support this cause.

Information on The Surfers Healing Art Benefit and The Surfing Santa Contest can be found on the The Surfers Healing Foundation for Autism website.
