Korean mobile games publisher Com2uS (KOSDAQ: 078340) has announced its unaudited financial results for FY10 Q1.
Revenue was 6.9 billion Won ($6.2 million), down 3.8 percent year-on-year.
Net income was 1.3 billion Won ($1.2 million), up 75 percent year-on-year.
Switch focus
The main driver of sales was Com2uS' international expansion.
Sales in Korea were down 14 percent compared to the prior quarter. The company blamed the transition from feature phones to smartphones, as well as issues with the Game Rating Board.
However, overseas sales were up 92 percent compared to Q1 FY09, at 1.5 billion Won ($1.4 million).
