Support for Google+ games on Flash streaming tool iSwifter is as much a positive sign for titles on Google's platform as it is a boost for users of the iPad app.
The social network's games channel launched in August, with titles such as Angry Birds, Zynga Poker and City of Wonder available from day one.
Now version 4.1 of iSwifter on iPad, which already offers support ofor Facebook games, can also access the Google+ library.
Google and Gupta
"Not only does bringing Google+ Games to iPads give users a larger library of social games to choose from, it also benefits developers because, regardless of which social network their users prefer, developers now have access immediately to a rapidly growing, new mobile distribution channel through iSwifter," said co-founder Rajat Gupta.
"This is a 'win-win-win' situation. Apple, Google and Facebook each win with more social games on the iPad."
Gupta recently talked up the performance of his company, revealing 2011 revenue is likely to surpass $10 million, with iSwifter having launched in September 2010.
The firm plans to hire up to 40 new employees before the year is out, jumping from its existing 8 strong workforce.
