With many of the opening exchanges at CES 2012 focused on smart TVs, Samsung ensured it was quick to the headline, with the announcement that Angry Birds is coming to its Smart TV range.

As well as the game - to-date Samsung has highlighted Angry Birds Seasons HD - Rovio will also be providing its animated shorts for the connected screen; something that it's sure to be building upon in 2012 in preparation for the expected animated features in 2013.

At the show, Samsung also announced its AdHub advertising network would be coming to smart TVs, as it tries to build out an integration platform across mobile and tablets.
