Mobile publisher Gameloft (GFT.PA) has announced its financial figures for its full year 2011, the 12 months ending 31 December.
Consolidated sales were 164.4 million (around $213 million), up 17 percent year-on-year.
It pointed to the success of titles such as Modern Combat 3: Fallen Nation and Gangstar Rio: City of Saints and well as free-to-play titles such as Six-Guns and Dungeon Hunter 3.
As is the case with French companies, Gameloft won't release its profit figures until later in March.
All over the world
In terms of territory breakdown, Europe accounted for 30 percent of sales, compared to 36 percent in 2010.
North America was 29 percent (previously 29 percent), with the rest of world growing fast, accounting for 41 percent of sales (previously 35 percent).
Getting smarter
During the holiday Q4 period, Gameloft sales were up 18 percent to 47 million (around $61 million).
Sales of games for smartphones and tablets were up 64 percent compared to Q4 2010, accounting for 41 percent of the company's total sales.
This total was 34 percent of sales during Q3.
Conversely, this meant that 59 percent of Gameloft's sales still come from legacy platforms such as Java, which remain strong in emerging countries such as Latin America and the Middle East.
Gameloft also pointed to the issues of exchange rates, saying that on a constant currency basis, its Q4 growth would have been 20 percent.
