Nokia has launched its new N-Gage games platform. We caught wind of the fact after seeing a Facebook status update from a contact at Nokia, went to the official website, and lo and behold, it's live.
Head here to get started. Handsets supported are the N81, N81 8GB, N82, N95 and N95 8GB. The site is suggesting that PC users download Nokia's PC Suite to install the application on their phones, although it's apparently not mandatory.
Four games appear to be live at launch: Asphalt 3: Street Rules, Brain Challenge, World Series of Poker Pro Challenge, and Creatures Of The Deep. That's according to Nokia's own showroom page.
Weirdly, System Rush Evolution, Space Impact Kappa Base, Tetris and Block Breaker Deluxe, which were all part of the First Access trial, don't appear to be on sale. Perhaps they're coming later this week.
But anyway, N-Gage is live. We'll be downloading the app tonight and reporting back tomorrow with our initial assessment, but if you've got a supported handset, get to it! See you on the N-Gage Arena rankings
