Norway-based games learning platform provider Kahoothas bought educational apps developer DragonBox in a deal worth $18 million in cash and shares.
The studio specialised in creating math apps that live under the Dragonbox name, including Numbers, Big Numbers, Algebra 5+ and Magnus Kingdom of Chess.
Kahoot said the most popular subject on its platform, aimed at students, parents and teachers around the world, is math. It now plans to bring DragonBox’s apps to its hundreds of millions of users.
