Also the larger publisher on the store

EnsenaSoft claims it's the first company to do 1 million Mac App Store downloads
Proving that apps aren't just popular on portable devices, Mexican developer EnsenaSoft is claiming it's the first studio to do 1 million downloads on the Apple Mac App Store.

Specialising in educational, board, puzzle and word games, it says its paid and free apps have averaged more than 7,000 downloads daily.

Of course, the fact it's the most voluminous publisher on the store with 31 titles available, including the likes of Doodle Hangman, Fantastic 4 in a Row, Mahjong Deluxe and Ultimate Word Search helps matters considerably.

Going bigger

"We have incredible talent within our organisation. The applications they develop have become so popular, so quickly, with Mac consumers," said Blanca Valencia, EnsenaSoft's president.

"The Mac App Store has allowed us to compete with much larger developers and reach out to a much broader audience than we could have ever imagined. Through the store, Mac users throughout the world can now learn from, and experience, our tremendous applications first hand."
