Onlive is set to use LG's range of smart TVs to showcase its cloud-based gaming platform at E3, with demos on the manufacturer's Google TV-equipped G2 Series to form the focus.
Taking place at OnLive's booth in the South Hall, the firm claims its demo will 'capitalise on the power' of LG's L9 dual-core processor, with 60 publishers delivering on-demand games to the platform.
Move on mobile
The press blitz comes as OnLive releases an update to its browser-based gaming capabilities, with one-click instant play on the platform's library of games now possible.
Said service which skips any need to sign up or log in - is currently limited to PC and Mac, though the firm has confirmed it will also roll out across browsers on TVs, tablets and smartphones.
"OnLive continues to pioneer exciting new experiences that are instantly and easily accessible for everyone," said founder and CEO Steve Perlman.
"OnLive cloud technology is the future, and we are thrilled to continue to bring its unique capabilities to light to a broader audience."
OnLive claims to have "millions of subscribers worldwide" two years after the platform's debut, boasting "100 percent uptime 24/7 since launch."
