In the battle between the various competing social networking technologies, the land grab in terms of developers (and eventually consumers) mindshare is considered crucial.
The more games your technologys in, the more likely it is that gamers will find their friends also have OpenFeint accounts, and playing with and challenging your friends is what social gaming is all about.
Its significant then that developer Aurora Feint has just announced its OpenFeint platform has been used in over 200 released iPhone games. Over 500 titles in development are also using it.
Recent success stories include geoDefense Swarm, Rope'n'Fly 2 and Above & Beyond Air Combat.
"We are proud of the incredible support we have received from indie developers," said Jason Citron and Danielle Cassley, co-founders of Aurora Feint.
