Slush is a major annual tech and startup event held in Helsinki, Finland.

It's one of the largest gatherings of its kind in the world, bringing together startups, investors, tech enthusiasts, and industry leaders. Slush offers a platform for networking, pitching ideas, showcasing innovations, and discussing the latest trends in technology and entrepreneurship. There is often some games content, but it also focuses on the latest tech, culture and investment trends. 

It all started in 2008 in Helsinki with a one-day affair of around 250 people. It's grown hugely to many thousands of attendees and a network of fringe events, and is known for its vibrant atmosphere, featuring keynote speeches, panel discussions, pitching competitions, and opportunities for startups to connect with potential investors and partners. Its stated focus is on how best to serve startup ecosystems worldwide.
