Quality Index: The week's best iPhone games - Pizza Vs. Skeletons, Frederic - Resurrection of Music
Every week, Pocket Gamer sister site Quality Index (Qi) highlights the newest games to make a critical splash in the cool, seductive waters of the iOS pool.

Grabbing scores and opinions from all corners of the web, including from 148Apps, AppGamer, and Slide To Play, Qi answers all your iPhone-related questions before you've even asked them.

Today, we're going to focus on two new contenders vying to be crowned king of your iPhone. Both are worthy, but do they have what it takes to win your head, your heart, and your wallet?

Deep dish

Serving up a surreal portion of cheesy madness at #6 this week on the Qi chart is Riverman Media's bonkers 2D platformer Pizza Vs. Skeletons.

Where to begin? Well, you control an angry-looking giant pizza who must roll around a variety of environments, crushing everything in its path.

It seems that the undead have a real problem with Italian food, however, and have amassed an army of skeletons to take chunks out of our delicious hero.

Featuring 100 levels bursting with diverse challenges, a slick cartoon aesthetic, saucy hijinks, and a robust character customisation suite, Pizza Vs. Skeletons is definitely leaving the critics hungry for more.

Maestro!

Hitting all the right notes at #10, meanwhile, is the symphonic satire of rhythm-action game Frederic - Resurrection of Music for iPhone.

Proving that the greats really are immortal, Frédéric Chopin emerges from his grave to do sonic battle with the guitar-strumming, vinyl-scratching upstarts of the 21st century.

Perfect nine remixes of Chopin's greatest works as you travel across the globe, and watch / listen to the humorous story unfold as you go.
Slide To Play's reviewer has been sharing his love of Forever Entertainment's Frederic with anyone who'll listen, saying: "It's so well-done and engaging that it's impossible not to recommend it."

You can get the up-to-date information about which games are reviewing best over at the Quality Index.
