UK outfit Connect2Media is the first iPhone publisher to proclaim how pleased it is about the changes Apple's made to game discovery on the App Store.
"It's good news. Extending Genius to games is a great move - just what was needed to aid discovery for consumers searching the 75,000 apps out there," says marketing manager Stephen Hey.
"Also the new look App Store is a joy to behold - especially as our very own Timeloop is still featured in the UK 'New & Noteworthy' section."
He's pleased with the new revenue-focused chart option too.
"The new chart will be very interesting to read. It will give us a real picture of the value of App sales."
As for the price cut to the OS 3.1 upgrade - from £4.99 to £2.99, Hey reckons: "I'm sure it's been driven by the poor response by iPod touch users to an upgrade that was free if you had an iPhone."
Overall conclusion?
"It's all positive and exciting stuff, especially considering games were given such attention in the presentation."
We're sure Steve will be pleased with the feedback.
