Delivering on the promises that sprouted from its September funding round, UK publisher Connect2Media has announced it's created a new sales and marketing team designed to give the publisher a big push in the US.
Connect2Media, which acquired US-based platform holder Sennari in March, is looking to build on its new found connections with carriers AT&T and Verizon, with the new team set to foster these burgeoning relationships.
Real rolesGreg Graham, who previously worked at RealNetworks, AT&T and Sony Ericsson, will take on the role as veep of sales and marketing, servicing existing accounts and developing new business.
Taking on the role of marketing manager for North America is retail and eCRM expert Jennifer Lyons. She will be responsible for marketing activity across the publisher's line-up in the US, as well as pushing Sennari's token-based PrizePlay platform.
The US drive comes as Connect2Media moves the country up its priority list.
The prevalence of casual gaming in the region makes it a prime target, with company investor Paul Gower of YFM stating back in September that pushing PrizePlay could deliver strong top and bottomline growth.
