Microsoft and Nokia offer devs chance to feature apps in Windows Phone ad campaigns
Microsoft has come together with Nokia to offer Windows Phone developers the chance to have their apps featured in two ad campaigns due to launch later this year.

Loosely dubbed 'Your App Here', the call to developers follows two previous campaigns carried out earlier in 2012, where apps such as NFL Pro 12, MagikMail and Weave were featured in promos on websites including Microsoft's own MSN in the US.

"We want newly published apps in the Windows Phone Marketplace that will delight US consumers in casual games, kids, family, health and fitness, shopping, travel, and utilities," the two parties said on the Your App Here website.

"Selected apps will be showcased in our Windows Phone and Nokia ad campaigns including banner ads, placement in Windows Phone Marketplace, public relations press outreach, events and social activities."

The next two campaigns are due to run in May and June, with developers needing to submit their apps for review by 31 March and 30 April respectively.
