Cross promotion outfit Chartboost is hosting a Mobile Game Hackathon, which it hopes will see 100-200 developers working in small teams to create mobile games.
Running out of the Startup HQ workspace in San Francisco, the two-day hackathon will run from Saturday 12 - Sunday 13 May, although attendees are also invited to an opening party on Friday night.
Hack it out
Working in teams of 2-5, participants have two days to build a mobile game using any SDK/API.
The winners will walk away with at least $2,000 worth of funding from Chartboost and a month of free deskspace from Startup HQ in order to develop their game further.
The event is completely free, and open to spectators as well as hackers and designers.
