Claro Brazil rolls out PlayPhone's Android gaming platform

Social, discovery and carrier billing all integrated

Claro Brazil rolls out PlayPhone's Android gaming platform
Having signed deals with Verizon, AT&T and Rogers, PlayPhone is now expanding into Latin America.

Its Android-focused social gaming network has been picked up by Claro Brazil, and is now available under the label Ideias Social Games.

Integrating carrier billing and a platform-wide currency called Claro Credits, it enables Brazilian gamers to discover and play free or premium games while keeping up-to-date on their friends' latest game activities.

"By working with our service provider customers closely, we're providing a robust mobile social gaming solution with customisable stores and a technologically sound global network," said Ron Czerny, PlayPhone's CEO.

And we've made it easy for game developers to integrate their games with PlayPhone, ensuring an ongoing pipeline of the best and most popular social games."
