Following the news that Tencent has acquired a majority stake in Supercell, the beancounters have been hard at work on some back-of-the-envelope calculations.
Granted, it's a large envelope.
Newzoo reckons that the acquisition gives Tencent $11.1 billion in annual game sales.
That compares to $6.7 million for Activision Blizzard (and King).
What's next?
The company also predicts that at current rates of growth, the combined Tencent-Supercell could generate $13 billion in 2016.
That's around 13% of the total game market.
As well as Supercell, Tencent also has investments in games companies ranging from Riot Games, Epic Games and Pocket Gems, to Glu Mobile and Miniclip.
