Former US president Barack Obama doesn't care for Pokemon

I’d honestly always figured him more of a Digimon fan anyway

Former US president Barack Obama doesn't care for Pokemon

Former US president Barack Obama isn’t much of a Pokemon fan.

In a shocking revelation through a political activism video on ATTN, the president responded to the hypothetical concerns of someone who won’t vote because they don’t care about politics.

“Look, I don’t care about Pokemon,” said Obama. “But that doesn’t mean it won’t keep on coming back.”

Lacking in taste? (You should vote, though)

Fortunately, the former president is not standing for election in any district - a comment like this would clearly be a disaster for any campaign efforts.

This isn’t the first time a major US politician has brought pocket monsters into the political sphere. During the 2016 presidential race, then-candidate Hillary Clinton infamously urged voters to “Pokemon Go to the polls”.

Regardless, choosing to vote is likely more important than choosing your starting Pokemon - if you’re reading this in the United States, it’s worth making sure you’re prepared to vote in next month’s Midterms.
