US Sprint customers will soon be able to benefit from a new collaboration the carrier has struck up with Konami to bring its classic games to the mobile. The partnership launches with Contra 4; the eleventh instalment of the popular action-packed Konami franchise.
"Sprint is a leading carrier, known for its innovation in content delivery," said Joe Morris, veep of Konami Mobile. "We are proud to partner with them to continue providing their wireless subscribers with quality games and entertainment. There are many Konami fans who have previously been unable to access our mobile games, and we're thrilled to give them a chance to experience their favourite franchises in an entirely new way."
Frogger, Castlevania and Metal Gear Classic, among other classic titles, are reportedly waiting in the wings.
