Although THQ Wireless didnt disappear completely, its mobile gaming division was redistributed and rationalised, with resources concentrating on high end platforms rather than the mobile market it was previously such a dominant force in.
Mobile Entertainment is reporting that one of the companys biggest (and most popular) franchises, Worms, could remain on the mobile thanks to a new worldwide licensing deal with EA Mobile.
Presumably this wont extend to the platforms THQ Wireless now concentrates on, such as the DS, PSP and iPhone, but the mobile has seen huge success with the Worms franchise, so news of a licensing deal would be gratefully received by fans.
