GSMA Global Mobile Awards last call for entries
The 15th annual GSMA Global Mobile Awards has put out a final call for entries, with the deadline arriving at 5PM GMT on Monday November 23rd.

The contest offers recognition across 11 different categories, ranging from Entertainment and Mobile Marketing to Leadership and Environmental Awareness.

Participation in the Global Mobile Awards is recognised throughout the global industry as a pivotal method of raising a company profile, obtaining global media coverage, and creating a promotional platform.

"Winning a GSMA Global Mobile Award put INQ on the map; it really made the industry sit up and take notice of what we'd achieved," said INQ Mobile CEO Frank Meehan, winner of Best Mobile Handset 2009. "The award certainly got the phones ringing at INQ, generating interest from potential customers and partners around the world."

This year also introduces a new category, Best Network Technology Advance, which will be judged by an expert panel of CTOs from mobile operators around the World.

The Global Mobile Awards will be presented within the GSMA Mobile World Congress conference for the first time in its 15-year history on Tuesday 16th February 2010, in Barcelona, Spain.
