Despite the initial acclaim around Palm's new WebOS operating system, developers haven't been flocking back to the once great PDA giant as much as it would have hoped.
An SDK was released to tempt the development world over to Palm's cause once again, but it's now looking to encourage the casual, app-curious user over to the development arena.
A new online tool called Ares has just gone into public beta, and allows anyone to piece together a basic Palm application using an intuitive graphical user interface that works right within your web browser.
Initially you need to sign up as a Palm developer (which is quick and free) before accessing the drag-and-drop Ares system, which saves all your work online and comes with an expansive tutorial.
Exactly how detailed these apps can be remains to be seen, but with proper support it could be a great way to encourage business and software users over to the Pre and Pixi.
Take a closer look at Ares here.
