Monetisation outfit Tapjoy launched its first developer fund - $5 million for porting iOS games to Android - in June 2011.
It's been so successful that the company's now rolling out a new $5 million fund for Asian developers.
Covering free-to-play Android and iOS games, the Tapjoy Asia Fund will help developers in terms of direct funding and marketing.
Hit the ground running
Based out of Tapjoy's offices in Beijing, Hong Kong, Seoul and Tokyo, it will also provide consultancy in terms of different monetisation options, and optimisation of sales channels when games are live, thanks to Tapjoy's real-time analytics.
"We are committed to helping developers bring fun, engaging mobile games and experiences to market successfully," said Mihir Shah, Tapjoy's CEO.
"Providing a level playing field in which developers large and small can have their apps discovered will only strengthen the mobile marketplace for everyone. It is our hope that the Tapjoy Asia Fund will be as well received as the Tapjoy Android Fund we launched in the US last year which resulted in 155 new apps being developed."
