Winner takes it all: Real brand monetisation platform GoPrezzo hits UK
Gaming tournament platform GoPrezzo has announced it is to launch in the UK, offering developers a 'new and compelling way' to engage and monetise gamers.

The platform works as a brand partner, offering up products as prizes on a cost per engagement model, with devs earning a cut of the revenue generated.

With games such as Boom Bugs and Rope Rescue already on board (and brands including Paul Frank, Simple Things and Birchbox signed up), GoPrezzo has claimed its UK launch will also be bolstered by a £500,000 investment in the company by an unnamed partner.

Win for brands

"We've created a unique win, win, win solution for brands, developers and players, and the numbers since our US launch prove this," detailed CEO Aaron Taylor.

"Prelaunch registrations indicate a huge appetite for UK gamers to get involved."

Taylor claims the games currently using the company's technology - which enters gamers posting high scores into a prize draw - have seen a 7 percent click through rates and 4 percent conversion rate to signups.

You can find out more about the service - currently limited to games on Amazon's Appstore for Android - via its website

What do you call someone who has an unhealthy obsession with video games and Sean Bean? That'd be a 'Chris Kerr'. Chris is one of those deluded souls who actually believes that one day Sean Bean will survive a movie. Poor guy.
