N-Gage's Project White Rock unveiled as Reset Generation

Turn-based action using spoof game characters aims to 'shatter expectations'

N-Gage's Project White Rock unveiled as Reset Generation
The public unveiling happens tonight in San Francisco but details have already leaked out concerning Nokia's much speculated PC and N-Gage game, Project White Rock.

In an interview with Edge magazine, the title has been officially announced as Reset Generation, while producer Scott Foe has spoken about how the key mechanic of user-generated content based around the theme of spoofed classic game characters will work across both platforms.

The web version of the game will be freely available and enable players to customise the game's assets, while the mobile game will feature turn-based action using said characters.

Foe said this approach would allow Reset Generation to have a 18-month to three-year sales cycle on mobile.

"Reset Generation is meant to be imperishable, so it's the way you're enjoying it that will change. We mean for this to be he highest production value mobile title ever. We mean to shatter expectations. We mean to put the flag on the summit," he's quoted as saying.
Reset Generation is due to be released sometime during the summer.
