Gaining 350,000 downloads in a week might not sound like much in a world where Rovio is doing over 1 million Angry Birds downloads a day.
However, the two big pluses from Halfbrick's announcement about Jetpack Joyride's launch week performance is that it's an original IP and is only available as a paid game.
Okay, so it's only 99c, but that's $240,000 net of Apple's 30 percent, and not taking into account the various in-app purchase options, which range from 99c to $12.99 depending on how many in-game coins you want to buy.

"We knew we had a great game with Jetpack Joyride, and we're glad 350,000 people agree," said Phil Larsen, chief marketing officer at Halfbrick.
"To show all of our Halfbrick fans our appreciation for making this game a #1 hit around the world, we have already added a new content update and are committed to adding content on a regular basis."
