With Facebook nailing its future success to mobile, data outfit Kontagent is supporting the ecosystem provided by its one-time funder every step of the way.
It's announced its suite of customer intelligence tools will enable mobile publishers and developers to track their campaigns through Facebook's recently announced mobile app install ads.
These appear in the news feed when you're using the mobile version of Facebook.
Number crunching
Kontagent's kSuite Enterprise now enables you to measure key performance indicators such as retention and average revenue per user, while kSuite DataMine provides the ability to analyse the in-app behaviour of users who have installed iOS and Android apps and games from different channels.
"Our announcement enables marketers to dive into the most granular insights on customer behaviour," commented CEO Jeff Tseng.
"They'll be able to improve their user acquisition, engagement, retention and eventually their monetisation strategies."
Kontagent was originally launched around Facebook metrics, before adding a mobile focus, and received an early investment from Facebook's funding and incubator program, fbFund, in 2008.
