That's the attempt to create an industry-wide Open API to help developers deal with all forms of data.
It's continuing to push on with its own proprietary smarts too, announcing new tools in the shape of kSuite DataMine for Analysts.
Knowledge is power
It labels this 'a hosted, out-of-the-box data mining option' that will enable people with a basic knowledge of SQL to better engage and monetise their users.
What this means in practise is that developers will be able to better dig into the data they're collecting from apps (obviously no longer using UDIDs on iOS), in terms of preventing churn, driving in-app engagement and maximising virtual goods sales.
Kontagent suggests examples of the sort of thing you'll be able to do include:
- What last three actions did users take before they uninstalled?
- What last five behaviours did users exhibit before purchasing virtual goods?
- What are the purchase habits of my highest-value gamers?
- Who are my most viral users, and how can I use that information to attract more of them?
You can find out more from Kontagent's website.
