Description
Kiro'o Games is the first game development studio in Cameroon. It is located in Yaounde, with a team of 20 young developers who aim to build an African portfolio with a blend of video games, comics, animations, illustrations and more. The company is behind the action RPG title Aurion: Legacy of the Kori-Odan for PC (2016), and a comic based on the game was released in 2018. In 2017, Kiro'o Games launched an online mentoring program for entrepreneurs and project holders which supports about 1,000 young people. As well as video games and comics, Kiro'o also creates animated videos for advertisements. The studio’s stated aim is to create one of Africa's biggest digital catalogues with a user base of at-least 18 million users in Africa by 2025.
