Dubbing and localisation firm DL Multimedia has announced that it's opening a new studio in Colombia to provide its services to games companies targeting Latin America.
The company has been working on translation, dubbing and subtitling for more than 13 years in Spain, but now sees an opportunity to expand into Latin America.
"DL is the leading service provider in its field in Spain today, and our aim is to reach the same position in Colombia soon," says CEO Tino Martin. "I believe we are well positioned to achieve this."
Latin America is becoming an important market for many mobile games publishers, due to its fast growth compared to the slowing pace of many developed markets.
DL has history in the mobile games industry, too, having worked on localisation for games by the likes of THQ Wireless, Digital Chocolate, In-Fusio and Vivendi Games Mobile.
