Zeemote expands to more S60 handsets

Zeekey app lets joystick work with Nokia, Samsung and LG phones

Zeemote expands to more S60 handsets
Zeemote has announced a significant increase in the number of handsets able to use its Zeemote JS1 joystick, thanks to its downloadable Zeekey application.

It now works on any Nokia, LG or Samsung Series 60 handset (a full list is at the bottom of this story), once the user downloads Zeekey to the phone.

The app lets them control not only games, but also navigation, music, web browsing and other mobile apps on their phone.

Until now, the JS1 has only been available with a select number of Nokia and Sony Ericsson handsets in specific countries. Today's news will fuel Zeemote's plans to sell the device direct to consumers.

"Zeemote is committed to delivering the world’s best mobile gaming experience to a global audience of mobile users across the largest number of mobile devices." says Ernie Cormier, president and CEO of Zeemote.

"Our Zeekey application also ensures compatibility of the Zeemote JS1 with all mobile games that a user already has on their mobile phone or intends to purchase in the future."
