Mobile analytics firm Distimo has announced a new service called Monitor that should enable developers to keep track of their apps across multiple platforms.
The new dashboard, which requires no additional code to be inserted into apps and is available for free, collects and displays all relevant daily app statistics, download figures and revenue generated from both the App Store and Android Market in one place.
Interestingly, Monitor also allows studios to keep a check on how the competition is doing.
Distimo claims developers are able to use it to compare the ranks of competing apps in any country and analyse their popularity over time.
Although only iPhone and Android are catered for at the moment, TechCrunch reports Distimo is already working on support for BlackBerry App World, Nokia Ovi Store, Palm App Catalog and Windows Marketplace.
