Join them (and us) at London's Vinopolis

Over 550 signed up to PG Connects as we countdown to 20 January

We've been overwhelmed by the response to Pocket Gamer Connects, our first ever full conference, with over 550 delegates, speakers and sponsors - including many of the biggest names in the business, plus the hottest new indie devs - signed up to visit so far.

Taking place at London's Vinopolis next week (20-21 January), we've have just increased the ticket allocation, so there's still a chance to join them and us for two days of mobile gaming insight, excitement and networking for as little as £92 (standard developer ticket).

There's also time to register if you're a member of the press and wish to cover the event.

If you're still not convinced, here's 10 reasons why we think you should come along...

1. Get the inside track on the Asian markets

Our East meets West track provides everything you need to know about promoting your games in China, Japan and Korean markets, with data bursts from stat gurus, views from experts on the ground, including Gamevil, Chukong, iDreamSky, 360, Tencent, Kakoa, Metaps and Marvellous AQL plus real reactions (both good and bad) from developers who've tried their luck already.

2. Discover the next hot opportunities

We'll also be offering a heads-up on the next emerging markets such as Latin America, India, and Eastern European markets courtesy of Nevosoft, Dhruva, Zupcat, XMG, Thumbstar and more.

3. Find out how to be a mobile rock star!

The Pocket Gamer Connects Indie Rock Star track is dedicated to helping you hone the star power of your studio from company foundation and creativity, through to launch and game monetisation - with advice from a wide range of industry experts and feedback from the indie heroes who've 'been there and done that', including Ustwo, Tag, Ndemic Creations, Creative Assembly, Rebellion, Vivid Games, Lima Sky, Creative Mobile, plus many more.

4. Get the latest numbers from the stats and monetisation experts

We'll have analytical insight from App Annie, Distimo, NewZoo, and GameAnalytics, plus monetisation mojo from AppLift, Sponsorpay, Inmobi, Tapjoy, Apportable, GameSparks, AdKnowledge, plus many more.

5. Get a free Global Trends market Report worth over £200!

Every attendee to Pocket Gamer Connects will receive a free global mobile games trend report, worth over £200, with insight on trends in different markets, plus our global games track will attempt to highlight the regions that you should be keeping an eye on - and why.

6. Make some great new business connections!

We have over 550 developers, publishers and general mobile games luminaries at the show armed with business cards and ready and waiting to meet you, plus a ninja meeting system to help you connect with them.

7. Discover some great games!

Ultimately it's the games themselves that matter most and PG Connects won't be short on that score either. Our Very Big Indie Pitch will be packed to overflowing with fresh gaming talent, and we'll have game challenges and demos set up throughout the expo.

There will be plenty of opportunities across both days to get some hands-on time.

8. Hear from the big boys

Listen to the viewpoints and strategies of some of the most successful global gaming companies such as King, Tencent, Gamevil, Rovio, Capcom, Wooga, Miniclip, Storm8, FunPlus, and more.

9. Get some media exposure

The Steel Media editorial team will be there in force with representatives from Pocket Gamer, 148Apps, AppSpy et al eager to try out, write about and film new games.

Our PocketGamer.biz b2b team will be documenting the show and ready for interviews, plus we'll have a good turn out of wider specialist and mainstream press in attendance too.

10. Have a little fun!!

PG Connects is a Pocket Gamer event after all, so you can expect there to be lots of fun on the way, be it our mini tour of London, interaction through our cool voting and question tool, dinners or parties in the evenings!
