Having signed up former Sega Mobile man Darren Newnham as head of content, new social discovery platform TeePee Games has confirmed Lauren Omond as a project manager.
Previously at Player X with TeePee CEO Tony Pearce, Omond will oversee the development of the startup's portal and will be responsible for liaising with game companies to ensure the platform is ready for a smooth launch in Q1 2011.

During her time at Player X, Omond was UK marketing manager and more recently account manager for the O2 and Orange mobile games portals.
"As a former of colleague, I'm thrilled to have Lauren on board as I know from personal experience that her abilities are a perfect fit for the role of project manager," Pearce said.
"She joins the company at an exciting stage as TeePee Games' launch is only a couple months away."
Game developers and publishers interested in featuring on the TeePee Games discovery platform are invited to sign up online.
