Rumour: Foxconn and Pegatron begin iPhone 5 production in time for October launch
The number of iPhone 5 rumours are steadily building up steam as October approaches, and so it is that Japanese website has reported iPhone 5 hardware production is already well under way, with Foxconn and Pegatron rumoured to be sharing the workload.

The Mac website, Macotakara, has cited a Chinese source reporting that Foxconn is taking 85 percent of the workload with Pegatron the remaining 15 percent.

But, with the final version of iOS 5 not yet ready for installation, the completed hardware units are apparently being stored without their packaging.

All systems...

Macotakara’s source also states the devices will be released in early October, with an Asian release to follow either later the same month or in early November.

These whispering do seem to ring true, when aligned with previous rumours that Pegetron was readying 15 million iPhone 5 units for a September launch.
