Autodesk will use this year's Game Developers Conference to unveil a new range of Gameware development toolsets, including what's described as an "enhanced solution" for artificial intelligence.
The firm claims its development solutions already have a base amongst big budget console releases, but Autodesk is keen to stress that its services are just as applicable for the mobile market, too.
As such, Autodesk points out Gameware has been utilised in both Glu's Frontline Commando, as well as Infinity Blade 2 by Chair.
The Gameware product line comprises of components such as the Scaleform user interface solution, Kynapse AI middleware, Beast lighting solution and HumanIK animation middleware.

Promoting its new toolsets, GDC will play host to a total of seven different Autodesk-sponsored sessions, including a look into the development of an enhanced, adaptable pipeline for Infinity Blade 2, a look at forthcoming iOS release Twin Spin.
Autodesk's booth will also have a hands-on area, where visitors will be able to interact with both the Gameware range and games developed with the technology, including Red Engine Productions' Band Together and Autodesk's own proof-of-concept game Hyperspace Madness.
GDC attendees will find Autodesk at booth #1432 in the North Hall, although those not attending the San Francisco extravaganza - which runs from 7-9 March - can still catch the firm's presentations on the firm's website.
