MobilityWare hits 250 million downloads, sets sights on wearables

The Californian company is responsible for one of the “Top 25 Free iPad Apps of All Time,” Solitaire, as well as Spider Solitaire, FreeCell and Blackjack.

Putting the Ware in wearables

As MobilityWare celebrates its 25th anniversary this summer, the firm has also announced that it will be expanding its platform support to wearable devices as it develops games for Apple Watch and Android smartwatches.

“We are proud of reaching this historic milestone as it further validates our philosophy of focusing on evergreen games that offer widely known game mechanics that appeal to a mass-market audience regardless of territory or language,” said Dave Yonamine, CEO of MobilityWare.

“Moving forward, 2015 is poised to be an exciting year for our company as we continue to increase staffing; expand our product line to encompass the burgeoning wearables category, and diversify our product offerings.”
