King's midcore title Hero pulled from soft launch for a second time

Will probably be back in a month

King's midcore title Hero pulled from soft launch for a second time

King has removed its action-RPG, Hero, from soft launch for a second time.

Once again, there doesn't seem to be any reason behind the removal, though it's unlikely that King has decided to scrap the game altogether.

Holding out for Hero

A more likely reason is that the game has hit a certain number of downloads, and the developer will now focus on these players to study metrics and fine-tune the game.

Last time Hero was pulled, it reappeared less than a month later with a heap of new content, so it's entirely possible King will repeat this pattern and bring the game back later with a huge update.

You can keep track of it, and plenty of other soft-launched titles, in our handy soft launch list.
