Supercell's ClashCon 2016 has been cancelled according to a post on the Clash Royale blog.
"While big events like ClashCon are a great way to give back to players, they are largely limited to the Clashers able to attend in person," says the post, which suggests a lack of interest from the community.
The 2016 event had been scheduled for November 2016 in Los Angeles, but the team has chosen to focus on working on the game instead.
For the fans
The community event was first held in 2014, and is designed for Clash of Clans players to come together and share their love for the game while meeting fellow players.
"ClashCon is all about the community, so we just want to create a fun and beneficial experience for our most dedicated players and celebrate them," said Supercell Community Manager Marika Appel of the first ClashCon held in Helsinki.
"But no matter what, we’ll always try to follow our community’s lead."
