Clash Royale topped the global mobile digital sales market in January 2017 fending off the likes of both Monster Strike and sister game Clash of Clans.
This is according to SuperData's monthly global digital revenue report, which showed that the industry as a whole grew by 9.8% year-on-year to $7.47 billion in the same month.
Pokemon GO ranked 4th on the list, with Fate/Grand Order landing 5th. Mobile Strike, Fantasy Westward Journey, King of Glory, Onmyoji, and Candy Crush Saga made up the rest of the top ten.

While it didn't rank at all, SuperData did point to Zynga Poker as having had its strongest month yet. It claimed that the game generated $13 million in revenue for the month, an increase of 94% year-on-year.
Clash Royale is predicted to have surpassed $1 billion in revenues during February 2017. This is despite Supercell CEO Ilkka Paananen stating that Pokemon GO had taken a number of its players.
Fate/Grand Order only came into the public eye recently due to it being a Japan-only title. It has performed consistently better than Pokemon GO in its home country since it launched.
