Measurement and fraud prevention company Adjust has acquired data aggregation firm Acquired.io.

In a statement on the company’s site, Adjust states a desire to merge Acquired.io's multi-channel campaign management platform with its own operations.

Adjust did not disclose the cost of acquiring its new purchase, but stated that it was financed through the company’s cash on balance sheet.

The aptly-named Acquired.io was founded in 2016 and specialises in managing user acquisition channels by automating much of the process.

Acquired.io’s technology is set to be fully integrated with Adjust’s operations by the latter half of 2019.

Adjusted expectations

“We quickly realized that we have many things in common,” said Adjust CEO Christian Henschel. “Not only the synergies in our technological solutions and a deep commitment to our customers' success, but a shared vision to build world-class products that make the job of marketers less complicated, with increased efficiencies and greater scalability.

“With this acquisition, we address a gap in the market where we will deliver an unparalleled solution that simplifies the process of multi-channel campaign management to significantly reduce repetitive workflows, enabling user acquisition teams to focus on what really matters to them - campaign optimization to drive ROI.”

Earlier this year, Adjust launched an open-source benchmarking tool for mobile apps.
