US firm Mpowerplayer has launched a Facebook application that allows consumers to try and buy mobile games.
It's called Mplayit Mobile Arcade, and is the logical extension of the company's recently-launched consumer portal.
The power of the Facebook app, though, is the way it makes it easier for consumers to recommend games to their friends, and have their activity appear in their Facebook news feed.
It's the first app of its type on Facebook, although several mobile publishers - including Digital Chocolate, I-play and Gameloft - have experimented with launching Facebook apps to promote individual mobile games.
