It’s a bit exasperating when companies continually refuse to comment on growing rumours, such as new iPhone hardware and updates, but it’s hard to argue with the response that silence apparently gets.

This year’s Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) has sold out in record time, as Apple enthusiasts flock to the show in the hope of hearing about new iPhone hardware and the new Mac OS.

Tickets were initially priced at a wallet-bashing $1000 only a month ago, though the wintry economic climate apparently hasn’t affected the public’s decision to shell out in the hope of catching a quick look at a shiny new iPhone, ideally accompanied by Steve Jobs.
