There's no doubt marketing on iOS apps is becoming a far more open business than it was even a few months ago.
Following similar moves taken by some of the biggest ad networks, mobile marketing specialist PlayHaven has announced it is to open up its own platform to iOS publishers and outside providers alike, delivering a one-size-fits-all option for apps.
Haven for all
The new 'self serve marketplace' will allow developers to deploy third-party monetisation tools including Tap.Me, TeleSocial and PressOK's recently launched PlacePlay - as well as those provided by PlayHaven itself.
"Tools offered by PlayHaven partners will always be available without the need to update the SDK, and ready to be enabled and deployed via PlayHavens intuitive developer dashboard," the company said in a statement.
"PlayHavens platform gives game developers unprecedented flexibility and control in creating and deploying business ideas in real-time, without the need to submit updates to the App Store."
More info on the SDK can be found on PlayHaven's website.
