ROK considering legal action over Player One going bust

Administration due to management clash apparently

ROK considering legal action over Player One going bust
As reported earlier today, UK mobile publisher Player One has entered administration.

However, rather than being the end of the story, it appears it could just be the start.

Mobile Entertainment is reporting that ROK Entertainment Group, which bought Player One in October, is considering legal action over the move.

"The former directors of Player One have indeed placed the company into administration," said ROK's Bruce Renny.

"This came as a surprise to ROK and we are currently taking legal advice with a view to seeking considerable recompense from the former directors of Player One."

A falling out between the two management teams has also been confirmed by PocketGamer.biz's contacts, with the suggestion that it occurred due to disagreements about the future direction of the company and the investment this required.
