Russian combat sim specialist Gaijin Entertainment expands to Android
It's been releasing games on iOS for a number of years, but now Russian publisher Gaijin Entertainment is taking up the challenge of Android.

Its first releases, real-time strategy game Modern Conflict - which was released via Chillingo on the App Store - and social game Gomoku With Pals, are now available as free downloads from Android Market.

"The demand for Android games just keeps growing, and we're glad to join the party," said Anton Yudintsev, Gaijin Entertainment's CEO.

"We look forward to expanding our Android roster in the coming years, both with ports of our popular iOS games and with new releases developed for Android-enabled smartphones and tablets."

Asides from those games, Gaijin is best known for its hardcore PC and console combat simulations such as Birds of Steel, World of Planes and Star Conflict.
