Grey Area's Markus Montola to give GDC talk on The Future of Location-Based Games
GDC 2012 continues to line up mobile relevant sessions for its Smartphone and Tablet Games Summit

Joining the already announced talks by Halfbrick's Luke Muscat will be Grey Area's Markus Montola.

Montola's talk is entitled The Future of Location-Based Games and will highlight some of the lessons learned by the Finnish outfit during development of its big-in-Finland smartphone title Shadow Cities.

Over at the Social and Online Games Summit, Daniel Cook of Triple Town developer Spry Fox will give a presentation titled Create New Genres (and Stop Wasting Your Life in the Clone Factories).

Paulina Bozek of Inensu will also be giving a talk about how social game developers can better target their audiences, with reference to fashion app Closet Swap, in her keynote, entitled Applying Game and Social Mechanics to Sustainable Fashion: Closet Swap Case Study.

Said talks will be available for those holding 'all access' or main conference passes, with pricing details available on the GDC website.

The event itself will take place 5-9 March in San Francisco.
